Our Story

A love of coffee enticed us to know more about it ! Where it comes from , the history , how it is grown , the people and farms that grow it , and of course how it is roasted ! It was so interesting in fact that we decided to take a journey through out New England . We visited several coffee roasting shops to check out their operations and styles. These people were so incredibly nice and informative. It appeared that they were having such a good time enjoying a passion and life connected to the coffee business’s they had started . They shared so much info with us that we decided to jump into the coffee roasting biz, and give it a go ! Taking classes , attending seminars , joining coffee clubs , magazine subscriptions. You name it !!! Learning the history and art of it was fascinating , fun , and exciting ! Then….. We bought a roaster ! A 5 Kilo roaster capable of roasting 12 lbs at a time. Bright red with hammered copper around the top ! We set up a small shop in the house and started to roast ! Yes , we were going to be coffee roasters ! There was a lot of experimenting and sampling different roasts , and different coffee’s from all over the world . We just kept roasting until we found our own niche and documented the style and roasts we loved best. We are very happy to share these coffee’s with you, and our experience roasting them.
